Ingredients:
coconut grated 1cup
coconut milk 1/2cup
long flavoured rice 1 cup
clove 1
cardamom 1
onion 1 medium sliced (for garnishing)
salt
ghee 3tsp
refined oil 3tsp
water 1 1/2cups
Method:
1. Fry the rice in ghee for 2 mins in a kadai. Keep aside.
2. Fry sliced onions till golden and crispy. Keep aside.
3. In a cooker, heat oil and add clove, cardamom and once it is fried with a good smell, add 1 1/2 cups of water and 1/2 cup of fresh coconut milk.
4. Now add grated coconut along with salt and mix well with spatula. Add the fried rice.
5. Cover and pressure cook till 2-3 whistles and turn off the flame.
Serve with any non-veg spicy gravy.
