Aloo Paratha




Ingredients:

wheat flour 2 cups
Aloo/Potato 2 medium size
onion 1 chopped
coriander leaves 2 handful - chopped
ginger garlic paste 1tsp
salt
oil

Method:

1. In a bowl add 2 cups of wheat flour and little salt along with 1tbsp of oil. Mix well and add medium hot water little by little to knead the dough.

2. Knead the dough till the dough becomes little thick and soft.

3. Make balls in this dough. Keep aside.

4. Boil potatoes with little salt. Heat a pan and add 2tsp of oil and add ginger garlic paste. Once the raw smell disappears, add chopped onions and coriander leaves. Stir this for 10 secs and turn off the flame.

5. In a bowl add boiled and mashed potatoes and the onion mixture we saute in the pan and mix well with hand. Add little salt.

6. Make balls out of this potato mixture and keep aside in a plate.



7. Spread the wheat balls to medium thickness using a chappathi roller pin.

8. Place one potato ball inside the wheat disc and fold as shown below.

9. Now spread again the folded dough to medium thickness.

10. Heat a tava to medium and add 1tsp of oil. Put the aloo stuffed paratha to that and add little oil above the spread dough.

11. Turn the other side using a spatula to cook the other side. Do not increase the heat while cooking this. This must be cooked in medium flame so that the dough gets fully cooked inside.

12. Onion raita is really a good side dish for this aloo paratha.
