Pepper Mushroom (Dry)




Ingredients:

Mushrooms - one pack sliced (20 whole mushrooms)
Onion - half of medium size (sliced)
Green chili - small sliced
Ginger garlic paste - 1 tsp
Peanut oil (vegetable oil, canola oil or coconut oil also works great)
turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp
Coriander powder - 1 tsp
pepper powder - 1/2 tsp
salt - 1/2 tsp or as needed
Coriander leaves chopped (for garnishing)

Preparation:

1. Heat oil in a pan and add the ginger garlic paste. Sauté until it turns golden brown.
2. Add the sliced onions and green chili and sauté till the onions turn golden yellow and transparent.
3. Add the turmeric powder,  stir well and add the sliced mushrooms with little salt. Cover and cook the mushrooms in medium flame. Stir in between.
4. Once the mushrooms are half cooked, add pepper powder and the coriander powder. Stir well and cook for few more mins until done.
5. Garnish with chopped coriander leaves and serve.

Good to have as a side dish for rice and chappathi.
