Onion Tomato chutney



Method:1



Ingredients:

onion 3 sliced
tomato 3 chopped
green chillie 3 chopped
coriander leaves one handful chopped
coconut grated 1/4 cup
curry leaves 5
mustard
urad dal 1tsp.
oil 2tsp

Method:

1. Heat 2tsp. oil in a pan. Add mustard and once it crackles, add urad dal and curry leaves.

2. Once the ural dal turns brown, add the sliced onion and green chillies and saute for 3 mins.
Add the coriander leaves, grated coconut and saute for another 1min.

3. Now add chopped tomatoes and saute again for 2 min. Add salt to this and mix well.

4. Turn off the flame.

5. Let it cool and blend this mixture to a fine paste.

Serve with idly or dosa.

Intake of curry leaves is good for hair growth and eye vision.

Ingredients:

onion 3 cut into cubes
tomato 3 cut into cubes
salt
green chillie 1
turmeric powder 1/2tsp.
chillie powder 1/2tsp.
sambar powder 1tsp.
mustard seeds 1tsp.
curry leaves 5
coriander leaves for garnishing

Method:

1. In a kadai add onions, tomatoes and green chillie along with salt and water and cook.

2. Once it got cooked allow it to cool. Make it to a paste in a blender.

3. Heat a kadai and add oil and mustard seeds. Once the mustard pops, add curry leaves and add the paste from the blender.

4. Add chillie powder, turmeric powder and sambar powder to this and allow to boil. Once the raw smell of the powders dissappear turn off the flame. Garnish with chopped coriander leaves.

5. Serve with idly/thosa.
