Methi paratha


Ingredients:

Wheat flour 1 cup
methi leaves 1/4 cup
cumin seeds 2tsp
chillie powder 1tsp
salt
oil

Method:

1. Chop methi leaves very finely. In a vessel add wheat flour, methi leaves, cumin seeds,salt, chillie powder and mix well to form a dough like chappathi.

2. Add 2 tsp of oil and mix well again. Keep this dough to rest for 1/2 an hour.

3. Make rounds of this dough and spread the dough using roller to form a sheet.

4. Toast in tava, both the sides by adding little oil.

5. Once the both sides got cooked, serve.

Serve with vegetable gravy or any non-veg gravy.
You can use kasuri methi, in the place of methi leaves. In case of using kasuri methi, soak the kasuri methi in hot water for 10 mins and make the dough using it. Really this is a tasty receipe and the aroma of methi adds a nice flavour to the receipe.
