Bathusha



Ingredients:

maida 2 cups
butter 50 gms
baking powder 1 tsp
baking soda a pinch
yogurt for kneading the flour
sugar for making sugar syrup

Method:

1. Take a vessel and add maida, baking powder and baking soda and mix thoroughly.

2. Then add butter and crumble it. Now add yogurt. Mix it well to form a soft dough, but don't knead very tightly. Then only the sweet will be very soft and layered. Keep this dough to rest for 20 to 30 mts.

3. In another pan add sugar and water to make a one string consistency syrup.

4. After 20 mts take the dough and make small rounds and make a press in the middle. Not a hole.



5. In a pan add oil and deep fry this pressed flour in medium flame till it turns golden brown.

6. Then add baloo sahi in sugar syrup. Soak for 2 minute and remove and place it in a plate. After sometime the sugar syrup dries and forms a white layer above the sweet. Really it tastes good.
