Garlic kuzhambu


Ingredients:

onion 2 chopped
tomato 1 big chopped
garlic cloves 15
mustard
methi seeds
curry leaves
tamarind water 1/2 cup
salt
chillie powder 1 spoon
coriander powder 1/2 spoon
turmeric powder 1/4 tsp

Method:

1. Heat oil in a pan and add mustard. After it crackled add methi seeds, curry leaves, chopped onions and garlic cloves and saute till golden brown.

2. Add chopped tomatoes and saute again.

3. Now add 1/2 cup thick tamarind water and pour 1/2 cup water. Add salt and allow to cook.

4. Add turmeric powder, chillie powder and coriander powder. Once the raw smell of the powders disappear, switch off the flame.

5. Serve with rice.
