Curd rice


Ingredients:

cooked rice 1 cup
ginger a small piece finely chopped
green chillie 2 chopped
mustard
urad dal or channa dal 1tsp.
curry leaves
yoghurt 1cup
salt
hing little
coriander leaves for garnishing

Method:

1. Cook rice and smash well when hot.

2. Heat oil in a pan. Add mustard and urad dal and once the mustard crackles add curry leaves, chopped ginger, green chillies and stir for few seconds. Turn off the flame.

3. Add yoghurt, salt and hing to this and stir well.

4. Add cooked rice to this and mix well. Garnish with chopped coriander leaves. Serve with pickle or spicy potato fry.
