Coconut puttu


Ingredients:

Urad dhal 1 cup
rava/sooji
coconut
sugar
methi seeds 1 tsp.

Method:

1. Soak Urad dhal and methi seeds together for 1/2 an hour.

2. Grind well to a thick flour. Place in a vessel.

3. To the flour add rava/sooji so that it becomes little more thick. Add little salt and sugar so that the flour should be little sweet.

4. In a plate mix grated coconut and sugar.

5. Now take little flour and dip in the sweet grated coconut and make rounds like this and place it in idly plate.(Don't cook directly in the idly plate. Spread cloth in the idly plate and cook)

6. Cook in steam, same like idly and serve.

You can have this with gun powder/idly chillie powder or sugar. This is an easy and tasty receipe for breakfast or dinner. Children love this very much.
