Gobi manchurian

Ingredients:

gobi (cauliflower) 1
ginger garlic paste 1tsp.
onion 1 big size chopped
bell pepper/capsicum 1 chopped
soya sauce 1 tspoon
tomato sauce 2-3tspoon
sugar 1 tsp
spring onions 1/2cup chopped
salt
coriander leaves for garnishing

Batter for frying:

cornflour 1 tbspoon
all purpose flour 1/2 tbspoon
rice flour 1 tbspoon
salt
chillie powder
ginger garlic paste 1 tsp.
(Mix all the ingredients by adding water to form a thick batter)

Method:

1. Cut the cauliflower into small florets. Boil water with salt and little turmeric powder and turnoff the flame. Put these florets into that boiled water for 5 mins.

2. Take out the cauliflower and drain the excess water outside. Dip the florets in the batter (we made for frying) and fry till crispy. Keep aside.

3. Heat 1tbsp. of oil in a kadai and add ginger garlic paste and saute for few seconds and add chopped onions and the white part of the spring onions and saute for few minutes till onions are transparent. Add bell peppers and saute again.
4. Add salt and chillie powder and stir again till the raw smell of the chillie powder disappears. Now add soyasauce, tomato sauce and little sugar and mix well.

5. Add the fried cauliflower to this and stir.

Tastes good with fried rice and vegetable biryani.
