Tomato thokku


Ingredients:

Onion chopped - 3
tomatoes chopped - 2
ginger garlic paste - 1 teaspoon
cumin seeds (big) - 1 teaspoon
salt
chillie powder
coriander leaves - for garnish

Method:

1. Heat pan and add 1 tablespoon oil, mustard, cumin seeds, ginger garlic paste and fry till the colour of gg paste turns brown.

2. Now add onions and curry leaves and fry with little salt till it turns to brown.

3. Add chopped tomatoes and fry again. Now close the lid and reduce the flame to medium.

4. Stir the contents every 5 mins so that the onion and tomatoes cook only in the oil we added.

5. After it got cooked add chillie powder and stir for 5 mins and off the heat.

This is a easy and tasty side dish for chappathi.
