Tomato chutney


Ingredients:

Onion - 3 cut into medium size
tomatoes -2 cut into medium size
salt
turmeric powder - a pinch
chillie powder
asfoetida powder - little
curry leaves for garnishing

Method:

1. In mixie jar add onions,tomatoes, salt, turmeric powder, chillie powder and asafoetida powder and grind well to a paste.

2. Heat 2 teaspoons of oil in a pan and add mustard and curry leaves and the paste. Stir well. Cook till the raw smell disappears. Add water according to your taste.

3. Serve hot with idlis and thosas
