Fish cutlet



Ingredients:

tilapia fish 1 pound
coconut grated 1/2cup
turmeric powder 1/4tsp
chillie powder 1/2tsp
cumin seeds 1/4tsp
garlic 1clove
salt
egg 1
oil

Method:

1. Cut and cook tilapia with little salt and water in a vessel. It takes approximately 15 mins to cook.

2. Once it got cooked, in a bowl mash the cooked fish with hands.

3. In a blender add coconut, turmeric powder, chillie powder,cumin seeds and garlic and make to a fine paste by adding little water.

4. Add this paste to the cooked and mashed fish along with little salt and egg. Mix it well.

5. Heat a tava. Add 1tbsp. of oil to it. Take some fish mixture, roll it and press it with hands and place on the medium hot tava. At a time you can place 5 or 6 cutlets according to the size of the tava.

6. If one side got cooked turn the other side and cook. You can pour little oil on the sides if necessary.

Serve with rice. But it got finished before serving rice, when i prepared this cutlet.
