Carrot Halwa



Ingredients:

carrot grated 1 cup (pressed)
milk 3 cups
sugar 1/2cup
ghee 2 tsp
cashew nuts
cardamom 2 crushed

Method:

1. Heat 2tsp. of ghee in a heavy bottomed vessel and add grated carrot into it and saute for 1min.

2. Add sugar to it and mix well with the carrot.

3. Now add 3cups of milk to it. Keep the flame in high and let it boil and cook for sometime. Stir in between. At this time add cardamom and stir.



4. Let it cook till the milk reduces in its quantity. If the milk quantity started reducing stir continuously so that it should not stick to the vessel.

5. Once the receipe reaches in the state like halwa, turn off the flame.

6. Sprinkle fried cashewnuts above that and serve.
