Plain dosa


Ingredients:

Idly rice 3 cups
pongal white rice 1cup
urad dal 1cup
methi seeds 1tsp.
oil
salt

Method:

1. Soak rice, urad dal and methi seeds in water together for one hour. Grind these to form a batter.

2. Add salt and mix well. Leave this for one full night.

3. Pour a tablespoon of this batter in a medium hot thosa tava and spread using the same spoon. Pour gingelly oil on the sides so that it comes without sticking to tava.

4. Turn the thosa and cook the other side.

Serve with sambar and chutney.
