Spring Roll


Ingredients:

Capsicum 1/2 chopped
carrot 1 chopped
onion 1 big chopped
spring onion leaves 5 chopped
coriander leaves chopped
wheat flour 1/2cup
maida 1/2cup
salt
soya sauce 1/2tsp.
chillie garlic sauce 1tsp.
pepper 1/2tsp.
salt
cumin powder 1/2tsp.
egg white

Spring roll sheet preparation:

Usually we get this sheet as readymade in shops. If you did not get that you can try this homemade sheet.

1. Mix 1/2 cup wheat flour and 1/2 cup maida in a bowl. Add little salt to it and prepare dough like chappathi.

2. Make small rounds of the dough and spread thin.


Method:

1. Cook the above vegetables in a kadai with little water so that it should cook partially.

2. After it got cooked keep the cooked vegetables in a chopping board and chop so that the vegetables will be chopped finely.

3. Put the vegetables in a clean cloth and squeeze the water so that there should not be any water in the vegetables.

4. Heat 1tsp. oil in a pan and put the vegetables in it. Add soya sauce, chillie garlic sauce, pepper, salt, cumin powder and stir well for 1 min in medium flame. Turn off the flame now.

5. Place the vegetable mixture in the corner of the spring roll sheet and fold. Fold till half. Touch the egg white and apply on the two ends (left and right) and now fold the two ends inside.

6. Again touch and apply the egg white on the remaining half of the sheet and fold again so that the sheet sticks properly which gives a nice shape.

7. Fry in medium hot oil. (Then only the flour which is inside the spring roll sheet
fries well)

You can have this as a evening snack. You can even prepare this for children as 11'o clock snack time receipe.
