Snake gourd thoran


Ingredients:

snakegourd medium size 1
onion chopped 1
coconut grated 1/2cup
chillie powder 1/2tsp.
cumin seeds 1/4tsp.
garlic 2 cloves
salt

Method:

1. Heat oil in a pan. Add mustard, curry leaves and chopped onions and saute till golden yellow.

2. Add chopped snakegourd and saute. Cover the pan with a lid and allow to cook. Stir often.

3. Grind the grated coconut with salt, chillie powder, cumin seeds and garlic so that it should not grind well.

4. Once the snakegourd cooks, add the coconut mixture and stir well. Serve with rice.
