Potato stew


Ingredients:

Onion 1 big sliced
green chillie 1
potato 2 big
salt
pepper powder 1 tsp.
coconut milk 1 cup
oil
mustard
curry leaves
urad dal 1 tsp.

Method:

1. In a cooker add oil, mustard and once the mustard crackles, add urad dal and curry leaves.

2. Then add sliced onion and saute till brown. Now add the potatoes cut into cubes to this and saute for 1 min.

3. Add little water and salt to this and pressure cook till 3 whistles.

4. Once it got cooked, smash the potatoes and add pepper powder and coconut milk and stir well in low flame.

5. Cook for 2 mins and turn off the flame.

It is a tasty dish. You can add vegetables like beans and carrot along with potatoes which is called vegetable stew. Serve with chappathi.
