Curry leaves rice


Ingredients:

mustard powder 1 tsp.
pepper corns 1tsp.
curry leaves
ginger finely chopped
basmathi rice 1 cup

To prepare curry leaf powder:

One handful curry leaves
rice 1 tsp.
channa dal 1 tsp.
asafoetida powder little

Method:

1. Fry the ingredients and powder it in a blender. Keep aside this curry leaf powder.

2. Heat oil in kadai and add mustard powder, pepper corns, curry leaves and chopped ginger and fry till raw smell disappears.

3. Now add the curry leaf powder and fry till 1 minute. Add salt.

4. Add cooked basmathi rice, mix and serve.
