Cabbage moongdal curry


Ingredients:

cabbage 1/2
moongdal 1/4cup
salt
coconut grated 1/2cup
turmeric powder a pinch
chillie powder 1/2tsp.
cumin seeds 1/4tsp.
garlic 2 cloves

Method:

1. In a pan add moongdal and fry for 2 mins. Add water to cook.

2. After it got cooked add chopped cabbage. Add little salt, cover and cook.

3. Grind the coconut, turmeric powder, chillie powder, cumin seeds and garlic and grind to a paste in a blender.

4. Once the cabbage got cooked add the coconut paste to it and stir well.

5. Add crackled mustard seeds and curry leaves in oil for seasoning.

6. Serve as a sidedish for rice.
