Moongdal kheer


Ingredients:

Moongdal 1 cup
jaggery 1/2kg
coconut milk 1 cup
milk 1 cup
sago 1/4 cup
cashewnuts
raisins

Method:

1. Cook sago and keep aside.

2. Heat a kadai and fry moongdal till light brown without adding oil.

3. Add water to cook. Once it got cooked add jaggery (made into small pieces)and stir well so that all the jaggery dissolves well in the moongdal.

4. Add cooked sago to this.

5. Now add milk and coconut milk and stir well. Let it cook for 5 mins. Switch off the stove. Kheer is ready.

6. Heat ghee in a pan add add cashewnuts and raisins to fry and add this to the kheer and serve.
