Ginger pachadi


Ingredients:

ginger (a small piece) chopped
green chillie 2
onion chopped
coconut 1/4 cup
tamarind water 1/2 cup
jaggery a very small piece

Method:

1. Fry ginger into dark brown in 1 tsp. oil and keep aside

2. Fry chopped green chillies and onion into golden brown and keep aside.

3. Fry coconut to dark brown and keep aside.

4. Grind all the three in a blender to a fine paste.

5. Heat oil in a pan and add mustard and curry leaves and add this paste and add tamarind water with little salt.

6. Allow it to cook for 5 mins. Add jaggery, stir well and serve.
