Chow chow dal curry


Ingredients:

chow chow 2
toor dal 1/2cup
coconut grated 1/2cup
turmeric powder 2 pinches
chillie powder 1 tsp
jeera 2 pinches
garlic 2 cloves
salt
mustard
curry leaves

Method:

1. In a kadai cook toor dal. After it got cooked add chow chow to it. Add little salt, cover the kadai and cook.

2. In the meantime grind the coconut to a rough paste with turmeric powder, chillie powder, jeera and garlic cloves in blender.

3. Once the chow chow got cooked add the grinded coconut and mix. Keep for 5 mins and off the stove.

4. Heat oil in a pan, add mustard seeds. Once it crackles add curry leaves. Pour this to the receipe. Mix and serve.
