Ingredients:
kabooli channa 1 cup soaked in water for around 5 hours
onion 2 chopped
tomato 1 chopped
coconut milk 1 cup
ginger garlic paste 1 spoon
potato 2 cut into medium size pieces
salt
chillie powder
chicken masala powder
Method:
1. Heat oil in cooker and add chopped onions and fry till golden yellow. Add ginger garlic paste and fry again till raw smell disappears.
2. Add tomatoes and fry for 2 mins.
3. Add potatoes and channa and mix well. Add water. To this add salt, chillie powder and chicken masala powder stir well .
4. Add 1 cup coconut milk to this. Close the cooker and let it cook till 5 whistles.
For thickness take the cooked potatoes separately from the kuruma, smash it and then mix the remaining gravy.
