Pudina chutney



Ingredients:

Pudina leaves - one bunch
chenna dhal - 1 tablespoon
red chillies - 5
cumin seeds - 1 teaspoon
garlic - 3 cloves
coconut - 1/2 cup
salt
asfoetida powder - a pinch

Method:

1. Heat oil in a pan. Add chenna dhal, red chillies and fry for 3 minutes.

2. Add pudina leaves and fry for 1 minute.

3. Keep this separately. In mixie jar, add grated coconut, cumin seeds, garlic, asafoetida powder and the fried mixture. Add water and grind it.

4. Now you can add water according to how thickness it should be. Garnish with curry leaves.
