Ingredients:
channa dal - 1 cup (soaked)
rice flour - 1 teaspoon
ginger - small piece
garlic - 3 cloves
salt
chillie powder
onion - 1 chopped
curry leaves - few chopped
asfoetida powder
Method:
1. In mixie jar add soaked channa dal, ginger and garlic, grind it and place in a bowl.
2. To this add 1 teaspoon rice flour, salt, chopped onion, chopped curry leaves, chillie powder and little asfoetida powder.
3. Mix well and fry in hot oil.
Note: Adding rice flour gives a crispyness to this vada.
