Easy chicken gravy


Ingredients:

chicken - 1/2 kg.
onion - 2 big onion sliced
tomato - 2 chopped
red chillie powder - 2 tablespoons
pepper powder - 2 teaspoons
coriander powder - 1 tablespoon
jeera powder - 1 teaspoon
turmeric powder - little
coconut oil - 1 tablespoon
green chillie - 3
curry leaves - 7-8 leaves
ginger garlic paste - 2 teaspoons

Method:

1. In a bowl add sliced onions. To that add all spiced powders,salt and ginger garlic paste.
2. Add coconut oil and mix thoroughly so that all the spiced powders, salt and gg paste mix evenly in onion.
3. Now add the chicken in this mixture and mix well.
4. Heat a pan and add this mixture. Now add chopped green chillies and curry leaves and close the lid.Cook in low flame. No need to add water, because the water in the chicken and also from the onion comes out and cooks the chicken.
5. Check whether the chicken got half cooked. Now stir and add chopped tomatoes and close the lid again.
6. Check often whether the chicken got cooked and you can cook till it becomes a thick gravy .
7. You can serve this for chappathi or rice.
